Conklin Area Structure Plan

The Hamlet of Conklin Area Structure Plan was prepared over a period of seven months with intensive public participation including round table sessions, an open house and a public hearing held in July 2002. The plan was approved at a regular council meeting held on Sept. 10, 2002.

The Hamlet of Conklin ASP outlines topics such as future residential expansion, buffering of developments to minimize conflicts, developing commercial uses along Highway 881 and potential recreation sites. It provides maps showing existing and proposed uses and outlines the consultation process that was used to develop the future plans for Conklin. The plan also provides guidelines for the implementation of the goals and objectives that the plan sets out.

The plan is made available on the web for extensive viewing by the public and other interested parties. Please contact Planning and Development should you require additional information.

Please note that amendments to these plans are consolidated on a quarterly basis.
