City Centre Land Use Bylaw (CC-LUB)
The Land Use Bylaw will be updated as part of the City Centre Action Program
In response to the community interests in creating a vibrant City Centre, the Land Use Bylaw will be updated to align with the City Centre Area Redevelopment Plan (CCARP).
The City Centre boundary extends from McDonald Island to Waterways, including waterfront areas of the Snye and the Clearwater River.
The CCLUB will allow for and encourage investment within the City Centre while requiring developments to meet the vision and intent that will be set in the CCARP. With the projected economic and population growth for the City Centre, a variety of developments are anticipated.
The CC-LUB (Bylaw No. 12/012 and Bylaw No. 12/013) was adopted unanimously by Council on April 24, 2012. The CC-LUB can be found here.
