Resizing Images
How to reduce the size of large images to under 1MB:
a. Please check the sizes of images before uploading them. If the file size exceeds 1MB, following the steps below:
i. On your computer, locate the image you would like to resize and RIGHT CLICK on it.
ii. Select “OPEN WITH” and chose MICROSOFT OFFICE PICTURE MANAGER.
iii. In the Microsoft Office Picture Manager window, go to PICTURE and select RESIZE. A window/panel will open with resizing options.
iv. Select the “PERCENTAGE OF ORIGINAL WIDTH x HEIGHT” option and adjust the percentage down till your pixel dimensions (shown directly below) are below 1000 x 1000 pixels
V. Save your reduced image and upload to the appropriate folder under Digital Assets.
