David Allen Blair
David Blair has lived in the Wood Buffalo area for most of his adult life. His father was in the military, so they moved around a lot when he was younger. After graduating from Kelowna Middle School, his father was relocated to Fort McMurray and that is where he's lived ever since. Blair is proud to be a part of this region and considers it his home. His two children were raised here and he now has 11 grandchildren who all live in Wood Buffalo. They are the light of his life, and he is determined to instill in them a love of nature and outdoor activities. Living in Fort Chipewyan has furthered his passion for nature. He and his wife, Blue Eyes, have a home on the lake there and spend most of their free time just enjoying the beauty that surrounds them. Blair is also the owner of Blue Rose Sales and Services Ltd.
He feels that we've come a long way in the past few years and are finally transitioning from the City of Fort McMurray to the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo. He is focused on bringing improved services to the people of Fort Chipewyan and other rural hamlets.
