Community Identification Committee

Responsibilities

  • Make recommendations to Council with respect to the naming of communities, subdivisions, public facilities, streets and multi-family projects within the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo.
  • Develop an inventory of street and place names that reflect the past, present and future of the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo.

Time Commitment

Meetings are held during the day on an as-needed basis. 

Eligibility

  • Must be 18 years of age; and
  • Must be a resident of the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo.
