Landlord and Tenant Advisory Board
Responsibilities
- Advise landlords and tenants in tenancy matters.
- Inform and educate landlords and tenants about their rights, remedies and obligations under the Residential Tenancies Act of Alberta.
- Receive complaints and seek to mediate disputes between landlords and tenants.
Time Commitment
One evening meeting per month - approximately 1 ½ hours (meetings are currently held on the third Thursday of the month)
Eligibility
- Must be 18 years of age; and
- Must be a resident of the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo.
