Regional Emergency Services

May 19 - 25 is EMS Week! Learn more about how your local emergency medical service providers and how they have two jobs, one face.

Regional Emergency Services (RES) strives in providing high quality emergency services to the people who live and work in the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo (RMWB).  RES is a fully integrated department offering full services in all areas of fire suppression, rescue, emergency medical services, dangerous goods response and fire prevention.

RES consists of the full time department in Fort McMurray, consisting of four operational fire halls and one Communication Dispatch Centre. RES also includes five rural community departments operated by volunteers.   Visit the following links to learn more about RES.
