Reporting Collisions
It is mandatory to report a collision in any of the following cases:
- The collision results in injury.
- Total damages exceed $2,000.
- Hit and run incidents.
- A sign or traffic device was hit.
A collision report must be done as soon as practical by the driver or registered owner. Failure to report a collision could result in a charge being laid.
How to complete a collision report
A collision report must be filled out in person at the RCMP detachment, located in Timberlea at 105 Paquette Drive. Remember to bring your driver's license, insurance and registration information.
