Discovery Centre
The Oil Sands Discovery Centre in Fort McMurray is located in the heart of the world's biggest single oil deposit - Alberta's Oil Sands.
At the Centre you will see first hand how oil is processed and get a feel for the industry.
In the summer, tours begin at the Oil Sands Discovery Centre
where you will discover a friendly and interactive introduction to the Athabasca Oil Sands, then hop on board for a 3.5 hour site tour that includes stops at the Giants of Mining Exhibit, Wood Bison Gateway and the Wood Bison viewpoint.
