The registered owner of a house premises shall ensure that:

roofs, foundations, walls, windows, and doors must be waterproof, windproof and
weatherproof
walls, ceilings, windows, and floors in good repair with no major cracks
ceiling, walls, doors, floors, and floor coverings are in good repair and easy to clean
cooking and food storage equipment (if supplied by the owner) is kept repaired and
replaced when necessary
common areas must be kept clean and sanitary
hot water is maintained at 46 degrees Celsius; cold water available
no
leaks or plumbing defects
proper ventilation in the bathroom
the heating system must be able to maintain at least 70 degrees Fahrenheit (22 degrees
Celsius) in all rooms
