Business in Bloom
Business in Bloom encourages local businesses to participate in beautifying our region. Residents can fill out the application form that will be posted at the bottom of this page and recognize a business that:
- has plants, flowers, hanging baskets, pots and shrubs
- keeps its premises clean and litter free (inside and out)
- is involved in the community
- cares about the environment
- respects our heritage
Criteria
Businesses will be evaluated on the following:
- Flowers (hanging baskets or pots)
- Flowers (flower of the year - Lavatera)
- Tidiness (participate in clean-up)
- Tidiness/Landscape (yard maintenance/lawn maintenance)
- Environment (Recycle Program)
- Environment (encourage recycling at home)
- Environment (participate in environment week)
- Environment (improvent/initiatives)
- Community involvement (service groups/sponsors)
- Community involvement (involved in projects/programs)
- Heritage (conservation & restoration of properties)
