In total, there are over 5,000 businesses accounted for in the region, with new companies coming to the region all the time.Some people think that all oil sands operations are run by one company, or that there is one place to look for work, but that is not true. The large number of businesses here, and the different ways they operate, means there is no single place to look for work. A job search in Wood Buffalo takes time and effort just like anywhere else.
