Counselling Services
Counselling Services provides professional counselling that facilitates people’s capacity to improve themselves, their families and their community. Services are available to all residents of the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo.
Purpose
The Family Service Agency also provides the following services:
- Employee and Family Assistance Programs (open to employees and their family members)
- External Employee and Family Assistance Program (contract basis)
- Critical Intervention Response
- Emergency Social Services Response
- Internal Training (i.e. Colours Workshop)
- Family, Community & Organization Mediation
- Employee and Family Assistance Program (open to Municipal employees and their family members)
- Critical Incident Stress Management
- Emergency Social Services Response
- Psychoeducational workshops and training upon request

Anyone wishing to access our services can call Counselling Services at (780) 743-7910 and ask to talk to the Intake Counsellor.
Fees
Services are free of charge to all residents of the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo.
