La Loche Winter Trail still under construction - remains closed
to all traffic

(Fort McMurray, AB – November 20, 2009) – The La Loche Winter Trail is currently under construction and is not safe for any travel, the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo announced today.

The trail will remain closed until road construction is complete and it is safe for travel.
Further updates will follow until the road can be opened to the public.

The Municipality’s goal is to construct a safe winter trail as quickly as possible. It is very important that residents stay off the trails during construction. Travel during construction is strongly prohibited.
