(Fort McMurray, AB – October 28, 2009) – A citizen survey will begin next week to measure residents’ perceptions of municipal services and facilities, the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo announced today.
The telephone survey will be conducted by an independent consultant hired by the Municipality, and will begin during the first week of November.
“The results of this survey will be used to support business planning and performance measurement by departments,” said Mark Kay, Manager of the Strategic Planning & Performance Measurement Branch. “This is a way for departments to obtain important feedback on municipal services, programs and facilities, and is an important initiative that will be repeated annually.”
Residents requesting more information about the survey may contact the Strategic Planning & Performance Measurement Branch at 780-788-4342.
