(Fort McMurray, AB – July 30, 2010) – The Municipality has launched an online survey in an effort to seek feedback on Public Works services located throughout the region, the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo announced today.
In recent months, the Municipality has implemented a customer service initiative that attempts to identify the strengths and weaknesses of public services. As part of this initiative, the Public Works department has created a resident survey, located on the Municipality's website that asks for feedback on items such as public transit, snow removal services, and road maintenance.
"We really want to get accurate feedback from residents so we can improve the quality of life here in Wood Buffalo," said Leigh Agozzino-Organ, Report Writer for the Public Works Department. "This is a chance for residents to voice their opinions about what we are doing well and what needs improvement."
The survey only takes about two to three minutes to complete and all responses are anonymous. The results of the survey will be used within the department to improve upon areas that have been identified as less than satisfactory.
Residents can find the survey here.
