Temporary closure of Lac La Biche Forestry Trail

(Fort McMurray, AB – March 8, 2010) – A section of the Lac La Biche Forestry Trail will be closed effective March 8, 2010 until November 1 2010, the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo announced today.

The section of the trail being closed is 14 kilometres west of Conklin/ Highway 881. The portion of the trail being closed runs south for 10.7 kilometres.

The closure is required due to seasonal conditions, soil conditions and the potential of erosion due to vehicular traffic.

All motorists are to adhere to the closure.
