Reporting Collisions

It is mandatory to report a collision in any of the following cases:

• The collision results in injury.
• Total damages exceed $1,000.
• Hit and run incidents.
• A sign or traffic device was hit.

A collision report must be done as soon as practical by the driver or registered owner. Failure to report a collision could result in a charge being laid.

How to complete a collision report

A collision report must be filled out in person at the RCMP detachment, located in Timberlea at 105 Paquette Drive. Remember to bring your drivers license, insurance and registration information.
